Injectors at 77k miles

For those interested, this was how my injectors looked like after taking them out at 77k miles. The port in which the injectors sit in, were also gunked up; it was disgusting. Replaced them due to timing issues. Ended up going with XDI since they had a sale going on and their support team was actually pretty cool. Timing issues were fixed after the replacement. So if you’ve got some issues and you’ve made sure it isn’t the ignition coils and spark plugs, check out the injectors too. It was a pretty easy DIY

Or you can have a reputable shop clean and balance the injectors.

I can tell you first hand that doing that will clean them but not address an internal flaw that allows them to get jammed open..
