what are yalls thoughts on catless downpipe, with non resonated remus midpipe and remus axleback.

I currently have just the catless dp and the remus axleback and the combo sounds amazing. However I cant help but think that it may sound more crisp with the complimentary midpipe. Plus the weight reduction albeit small seems like a nice added bonus.

i had issues passing emissions catted, there’s 0 point to not go catless since you likely have to swap DPs each time to do them. I personally had a polish guy just pass me w them on and the tune on but before him I couldn’t get a pass no matter what I did.

There are a couple of issues. The first and most important is the fuel smell, and the second is the raspier tone from Catless.

That does not mean catted is the better option, it's a matter of personal preference

Otherwise my exhaust end is stock and the secondary resonator (square) is there. In terms of opinion would I get the most quality sound from swapping out the midpipe or doing a simple axle back like MBRP. I overall don’t want to spend a ton on the car just to make it louder but the way it sounds w the badically stock midpipe and muffler is quite muffled for my liking. Anyone have any recommendations on what they have on and how they like it? Or if anyone took a similar path to me and chose either to do the midpipe or exhaust only for some added sound. I daily the car and don’t want it obnoxiously loud but I love a good tone.

Thanks in advanced for any feedback or opinions.
I use my 18” m240i vrsf dp and full oem catback f87 m2 exhaust. I highly recommend
