Anyone paint or wrap the radiator bars behind the grill?

If you have post some pics. I'm wondering how mine would look if I wrapped or painted them blue to match the brake calipers. (Mineral White coupe)

You need to search but someone did exactly what you are talking about. Blue bars on white car, blue pinstripe on front lip too.

haha, this was exactly what I wanted to do too.

I like the minimal blue accents so I bought blue metallic valve stem caps but can't justify spending $30+ on Amazon to use like less than 10% of the tape.

Let me know which tape you end up going with!

I vaguely remembered commenting that I liked the blue so I just searched for that.

How much was that if you don't mind me asking? Seems like a LOT of labor to facilitate 20 mins of actual painting by the time they pull the bumper.

$100 while the body shop had my bumper off after I got hit by a piece of road debris. I would never have only had this done, it would've been way too much labor.

While the bumper was off I figured why not.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. Was thinking it must have been that because $1000+ just for blue bars seems insane.

I wrapped mine in blurple vinyl. Costs less ($10 on Amazon) and quicker than painting (~30min) for the same result. Here's a "during" shot.

Is it only the grill that needs to be removed to wrap them??

Yes, but the grilles aren't that easy to take out with the bumper on. Some people know how to do it.

Grilles are definitely easier to remove if you have a second person pulling while you unclip them from behind (helps if you have smaller forearms).

For the blue valve stem caps, I have mineral grey / coral red on gunmetal VMR's, but I think these add a nice little pop and match well with the brakes.

Was thinking of going one of these two for wrapping the bars but haven't really decided which one I like better.

Is 1" enough without having to use 2 strips side by side? I'd rather use a wider tape to wrap it once.
