No rubbing on the street. On stock suspension. Very happy and highly recommend.
Is it possible to do Apex sm-10 wheels 18x9.5 ET35 all around with 245/40/18 tires? I have heard this setup will rub and will stick out to far.

Anybody know if I'm able to do either of these setups? I have 2016 M235i x drive.
- Apex Sm-10 18x8.5 ET35 245/40/18 OR
- Apex Sm-10 18x9 ET30 245/40/18

I'm looking to replace my stock wheels with a nice summer set.

18x9 ET30 needs at least 3° of camber to fit.
Event 18x8.5 ET35 with a 245 tire might rub. Needs fender rolling or camber.

Apex is an amazing resource. They gave me the options and I chose the one I wanted ie no extreme amber, rolling nor rubbing.

So you're stating, that u can fit a 245 square setup with 18x8.5 ET35 with no rubbing or any mods? That's my goto setup, but have never found any confirmation if that would fit.
Is it lowered?

A response I received from Apex:

"A safer bet would be the 18x8.5" ET38, which is a direct fit with 225/40-18 tires, and can usually fit 235/40-18 as well, but may require slight negative camber if lowered.

You can check out our 2-series fitment guide for more information here: https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc...-Fitment-Guide "

Other members have been getting 245/35r18 on without rubbing.

I would assume so but don't know for sure with your ET's as I have 245/265 and NO rubbing

Either way, it is damn close. A safer bet would be a 235 square setup. With 8.5 ET40 a direct fit without camber plates needed. Unfortunately, the EC-7 are not available in that dimension. Probably going with V703 instead.
