VMR V710 or Apex ARC-8? Decisions...

I like the styling of both, just curious which you guys think looks better. I would be getting one of them in a black finish. The ARC-8 are a good amount lighter so it has that going for it.

VMR V710

Apex ARC-8

ARC8 is a high quality lightweight wheel while V710 is average but has good looks. They both have differing sizes, offsets and concavity as well which will be important in deciding what is right for you. We can't say which is better for you.

I'm only asking in terms of how they look since everyone has their own tastes. Both wheels have the offsets I'm looking for so that's not my issue as much as appearance.

What about the Apex EC-7? That's almost a middle ground of the two wheels above.

Love the V710s on the 2 Series. I may be a little biased though. :thump:

Vmr wins in my book. Something about how the quality of their work seems to present itself better than apex, even with the added weight. They're popular for a reason. Slightly biased though...

I would highly recommend the VMRs! I got a set of the v710s for my m235 back in may, and actually prefer the look and finish to the oem competition package wheels on my m3! My friends love them so much that two of them are getting the same wheels for their bmw! We will have my Alpine White m235 on silver v710, friends Phoenix yellow e46 m3 on black v710s, and friends tiag e46 sedan on gunmetal v710s! Planning on doing a photo shoot as soon as their wheels are delivered.

Bottom line the wheels are great look, quality and finish. They get a lot of positive attention as evidenced by my friends all choosing the same wheel for their car!

I like VRMs too, but please oh please - can anyone actually using them in 19" tell me which width/ET allows to fir 235mm tire at the front, and 265mm at the rear? IS it possible at all? And if not VMR - which other brand? Of course, without any serious bodwork to my M235i...

I would appreciate it if you would stop bumping this thread, I went with Apex largely because I couldn't deal with VMR's customer support.

Sorry about that, won't bump anymore for ya! Just want to make one last post as an apology that you didn't receive the best of support. We appreciate the feedback! I'm not sure what could have happened there but would love make it up to you if ever given the chance. I do know things got rather busy around Black Friday / Cyber Monday time, but we always try to make ourselves as readily available as possible. In either case, enjoy the new wheels and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions (regardless if they're our wheels or not we'd love to help/offer support to the best of our abilities).

Happy motoring!

Thanks, I appreciate that, especially if it is still Brandon I am dealing with.

I just think it wasn't ethical for a vendor of one of the products to be in discussion of a thread like this.

If mods could close the thread all together, that would be great.

So the VMR V710s will fit perfectly a 228i without the need of spacers with either 225 or 235 in 18 or 19 with correct offset?
