ECS carbon fiber steering wheel

Anyone have experience with the ECS F22 carbon fiber steering wheel? It is not OEM but it looks like they are made from OEM wheels. Price seems pretty reasonable compared to other options I've seen on eBay.

Update: Got the steering wheel in today. It was packaged very well with lots of foam. Originally smelled like epoxy resin as if it wasn't opened since it was made (box said made in Taiwan all over it). No fit problems during install. The thickness is a little thicker than the stock sport wheel which is nice. The bolsters at the 10-2 position are way thicker than stock.

Yours look like they are the AutoTecknic Competition Shift paddles. I heard they are great but I didn't want to spend $200+ on them so I have a set of cheap china ebay M paddles on order as well as the new new trim piece with the split opening in the middle. Ill post more pics after I install

That ECS carbon fiber wheel looks very good. M Performance steering wheel isn't too bad either.

Thanks. After a week of driving here are my impressions on the ECS wheel:
  • Carbon fiber: 9/10. Some imperfections in the weave which can catch light and stand out.
  • Clear coat: 10/10. Time will tell if any yellowing occurs.
  • Alcantara: 9.0/10.
  • Feel in hand: 8.0/10. Minor inconsistent cross-sectional diameter between the transitions of Alcantara to carbon sections. 9-3 hand position groves right above steering wheel controls are smaller and more defined compared to the stock wheel and are not as comfortable. Alcanatra section is firmer than stock wheel which is good and bad depending on the day. Palm supports at 10-2 position are very nice because they are larger and fit my hand perfectly. Backside of wheel still has the finger bumps which is a nice detail.
  • Overall fit and finish: 7.5/10. The ground wire screw hole was drilled out too large and the screw wasn't totally secure. It was probably ok to leave it but I felt I had to glue the screw down, just in case. Another thing to note is that the product listing for the wheel states that it was "for manual only" because it wasn't supposed to come with the paddle shifter holes drilled. YMMV but my wheel came with the paddle shifter holes drilled (which was a relief because I was going to drill them out anyways).

I'm a big fan of the M Sport steering wheel.
My issues are the worry of alcantara wearing out over time.......

Thoughts?...........

The wheel looks really nice installed! Too bad it sounds like there are some minor fit/finish issues.

Google search it, there are tons of discussions about it. From my research I found that Alcantara has some maintenance to keep it looking new. If you are ok with cleaning the wheel every car wash than it will stay new looking.

Thanks!
Considering the price I don't regret buying it. I rated it with respect to the official BMW carbon/ancatara wheel that costs $2000 being a perfect 10 score.

That's a nice wheel. I've been looking at a carbon fiber wheel too. Or the M Performance one with the display on it.
There's a company called Mars that also does a similar looking wheel.

I'm slightly leaning towards the BMW wheel though.

I'd bet that's the same wheel. They are all made in Taiwan and just sold through different vendors

Very nice wheel. Have you seen the DINNMAN steering wheels? They are very nice with many different options. Spendy but soooo nice.
