Replacing rocker cover gasket
Hi,
I've just had a full service carried out, and due to a oil leak, it's been diagnosed as the valve cover gasket that needs replacing. I'll be getting the work carried out pretty soon, but I was wondering if it's a good time to replace anything else that may be an issue in the future whilst they're replacing the gasket? Thanks |

There is a corrugated breather hose from the top front of the VC to the turbo inlet. It is guaranteed to break upon removal. Get that. Depending on mileage and age, the cover itself should be replaced as well.

Hi,
Appreciate the reply. Is no.21 on the diagram the correct part? |
