Just got back from the Dallas Auto Show where they had a Mineral Gray 228i... but NO M235i

Like other have said though, the backseat is surprisingly roomy. I am 5'10" though and any taller you'd be touching the roof.

Snapped a few pics of the 228 so here ya go.. (Note: the hood was popped)

In some of the first pics of this thread of the car at the auto show with the kid in the seat, it looks like the gauges are illuminated in white. Is that true or is it just the flash? I've been dying to know if the gauges light up white during the day and orange at night. Can anyone confirm?

Here's a few more pics of the 228i from the Dallas Auto Show taken with my iPhone...

I wasn't overly impressed with the body details on the 228i. I don't care for the diffuser area or the lower area below the grills on the 228. I did like the red stitching on the black seats. That was a nice touch.

Modeboy, that last shot you posted looks to be a different color than the rest, a more neutral grey while your other photos have a definite blue tint - which colour is closer to real life?

BMW of Dallas got their M235i in this week it looks like and they fitted a few of the CF parts.. CF Mirror Caps and CF Spoiler. They look pretty good. I was really impressed with the spoiler as it had some presence to it without being too much.
