This just started yesterday and happened again today. On cold start the car starts right up, but then about a second later the rpms drop to around 400 and it seems like it's about to die then roughly 2 seconds later it shoots up to around 2,500, and then about 3 seconds later returns to normal cold idle. I have a Vrsf catless down pipe and Vrsf chargepipe, no tune yet but, I've had them for about six weeks now and this issue just started yesterday. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Forgot to mention it's a '15 M235i

Scan the engine computer (DME in BMWSpeak) for codes. The Service Engine Soon (SES) light is on only when an emission related code is present.

On a fully warmed up engine and the car RUNNING while in park/neutral, disconnect the MAF sensor and let the car run for about 10 minutes. Turn the car off and reconnect the sensor. On the next cold start, the weird almost stall cold start issue will very likely be gone.

My M235 did this recently and this was the fix. It's been the fix for other N55 others too.

Tried this didn't work. Anybody else have any luck with something else? It has even died on me if I don't let it sit for a few minutes
