Im wondering if your before and after camber is the same because you came in with camber plates already??

Is that the max camber possible with these plates because my camber is already -2.0 after adding the LCAs. And Im looking to gain another -0.5degrees

Must of felt good to come out of the shop clunk free

i had springs and plates done together. I can tell you its much more aggressive than stock.

I had stock 235 next to mine and my wheels where like / in the wheels well compared to | on the stock.

My shop does alot of track cars, and didn't recommend anything more than what i'm running. Can i adjust it more, yea. I haven't really looked, but i would assume i could get it to -3, but it would mess everything else up.

Its the perfect drop and ride height. with the springs, not too stanced out.

waiting for the warmer weather to put the R comps and track wheels on.

Looks nice, and I bet it drives better. Please update over time your experience with the camber plates.

What is your track setup for wheels and tires?

interesting that they don't wanna go beyond -2 deg. especially when dropping a car, from what I know dynamic camber decreases (going more positive)with lowering unless the stiffness of the spring compensates for roll.

I'm very Interested to know how the track session goes bc I know we are all tires of this happening to our tires (top of pic is outside shoulder. wear triangles are gone - and I run high psi)

give nitto 01's a try. Even on stock suspension they wore evenly. I had them heat cycled before delivery from discount tire and was very happy. They have a really nice stiff sidewall and very predictable.

Im trying nitto 01s and nitto 05s this season.

Hows the NV issues going?

This is the next thing I'm considering doing and if they remain quiet for you on all of those "quality" queens roads then they should be G2G most anywhere

On a flat smooth road its as quiet as stock.

With little bumps, you def hear a little clink and clunking going on, but nothing crazy.

SO another update...

I installed 12mm front, 15mm rear spacers and any noise that was there is now completely gone.

Sounds like stock, rides amazing. So if your on Dinan camber plates without spacers, go get some. Thickness will probably depends on your wheel size, 7.5/8/8.5/9/9.5 etc....

That is exactly the OPPOSITE of what I would have expected

Since when do spacers SOLVE a NVH issue?

my noises i don't think were related to top hat issues.

Im pretty sure the v2 solved that problem. They are also back on the Dinan website for sale.

How does pushing the wheels further out fix NVH?

I'm a little confused by this too, I wouldn't think a wider track with spacers would fix the clunking noises?

Been dealing with worn OEM top hats on my F31 after installing KW V2's. When I first installed them, I ran them a little too stiff which probably contributed to the premature bearing wear. Since then I have softened the front up, but obviously the damage was done to the bearings. Wasn't sold on many of the other camber plate options, but I am more inclined to trust Dinan. It would be nice to reduce outside edge wear on my Michelin PSS, among other things.

As a side note, oem ride height I see on most F3x platform cars has a much higher front than rear, wondering if dropping the front too much might have thrown off their engineering as well. The KW V2's ride great 90% of the time, but over sharp bumps like bad expansion joints on roads, etc it is pretty brutal.

Would I have issues using these with KW Plug and Play coil overs, M3/4 LCA and hotchkis sway bars?

How are these holding up? They are the V2 correct? Anyone else running V2 with success or failure?

I'm also curious what users are experiencing, now that these have been out/on for a little while.

I just had my V2 Dinan camber plates installed, and the rattling at slow speeds is still present. The noise isn't intolerable, but I'd have to reassess priorities if it gets progressively worse like rwalker has experienced.

I'm getting 18x8.5s in a couple of weeks, so I'll see if the spacer solution that bryan_f22 mentioned will work for me.

In the meantime, has anyone solved the rattling?

Dinan: any update from your end?

A friend of mine has the KW V3 and there was an issue with the 2 nut in the dinan camber kit. The nut didn't fit with the kw's strut.

I have the V2 and will install the dinan camber plates soon. Anyone here have issues with installation of the camber plates with V2? Thanks guys.

I believe these are designed to be used with OEM struts? Correct me if I'm wrong, though, because AFAIK you can't buy adjustable top hats that will do both the OEM strut and a coilover..

I have sent an email to KW and it is confirmed that KW's V2 and V3 uses a different size top nut than the original top nut (KW Variant 2 and 3 uses M12x1,25 and original is M12x1,5).

Luckily for me, a shop was able to custom make the top nuts which was compatible with the KW V2/V3 and the Dinan camber plates. Otherwise, no other issues apart from mild increase in noises when going on rough roads.

So for those who are interested in the Dinan camber plates with aftermarket suspensions, you may need custom made top nuts if your coilovers uses different size top nuts than the original strut.
