Intake Pipe Upgrade necessary?

Hey guys, was wondering if you guys have any thoughts on upgrading the intake pipe on the B58 engine?

I know the OEM plastic charge pipe will blow, but what about the intake pipe?

I think you are referring to the charge pipe on N55 engines. the B58 doesn't have those issues. You could replace it if you want but its not necessary.

Intake pipe is not so much as an upgrade as just a resonator delete I believe. Supposed to give more sound. Highly doubt they improve airflow much.

It's not mandatory, meaning the stock one will not fail, but an upgraded intake pipe will improve sound and airflow
