Does anyone know what these are? They came with the OEM M Performance Lip, the shop installed the lip no problem without this stuff.

One is used to fill slot in the lip for painting ans the other 2 pcs are to cover the paint contrast transition if you have a light colored car. Neither efects the performance. I did not use them since I left lip matte black on MG

Did you install the side stripes yourself or was it done professionally ? Is it hard to do ?
If professionally , how much did they charge you to do it.
If in ny , what was the place , lol

I live in Germany as well and there are plenty of bumpy cobble stone roads where I live. I am thinking of holding off getting the front lip until I get back to the states. Thoughts?

Sorry to dig up this thread from the grave. Could anyone tell me what type of screws are used for attachment, also is the double sided tape necessary for the portion that goes under the vents? Is double sided tape included? Thanks.

Again if anyone needs this let me know. I feel bad throwing it out, in case someone on the forums may need it.

Are the screws included with the lip or are you using screws that are already on the car?

FWIW...IND sells an M Style double fin grill that will also paint the tri-color scheme.

I bought my F80 M3 one from them and the stripes get huge compliments. Thinking of getting one for my GF's new M235i Convertible.

I would like to know this as well, particularly if double-sided tape is involved. I drive my car in winter, so I would like to take it off during those months for more ground clearance.

IND looks like they make great stuff, but that extra $75 just to have the M-Stripes painted is killer...I bought the vinyl and will go that route with my double slats

Does anyone know where I can get replacement screws for the lip? Dropped one so I need to find a replacement before installing

According to the M Performance install guide, the screws that come with it are 4.8 x 19mm (2) and 4.8 x 25mm (6)

I need one of the 4.8x25mm screws and have no clue where to get it.

Thanks in advance

I had the exactly same experience - dropped one. I did not mount my front license plate bracket so I had all the factory screws from it. I used one of them which matched exactly or close enough. Hope this helps.

I'm not getting my front plate drilled, any chance I could buy a screw off you if I can't source one?

Yes, Double sided tapes are already pre-taped where necessary.. all you have to do it peel before you put it on. Mine came with two different size of Philips screws. so pay attention where it should go. Just my personal experience - I had to hand tight them as power tool did not work for me because of ground clearance.

Regarding the black stickers for the contrast, did people that used them take off their air inlets?

The instructions say to remove them, but doesnt say how. Any help would be appreciated.

Have any of you dropped the screw inside of the lip. I have already double side taped it on. The screw that went in is the front middle mount

I completely killed my lip on a slight sloped cobble ramp.. I'd avoid and get something that sits higher up.

I can't see how people run these with lowering springs.. they must be two inches from the ground!
