AGh sorry for the mix up. I ordered it from eBay not from the place where OP ordered it from. I was just warning Mywifes335 from the eBay link not related to CNAUTOFANS

Hey everyone. I did receive word back from the manufacturer.
My hunch was right to a certain extent.

"all the carbon fiber products have the small hole, pls check the attachment picture. the hole is used for radiating, if does not have it, the spoiler will be out of shape for the high temperature."

Looks like I will just fill in the hole with some resin. Not bad for $200

The hole looks like it's on the bottom section? If so, that's not bad at all. Can easily be filled and not noticeable.

Interesting, i will let you know if mine has it when i get it.

*The broken one i got did not have any holes in it (except for the edge, but that was just due to the massive crack)

Anyway, looking forward to installation and pics.

I have fishing line on standby for my install, just need to locate a heat gun

Update.

The provided double sided tape is NOT thick enough to properly attach the spoiler.

Will be going to Home Depot early in the morning to purchase thicker double sided tape and I will return!

Second update.
I've been lazy and busy.
Used 3m Double sided tape, worked like a charm.
I'll have install pictures tonight.

Im pretty sure betalink is pretty aggressive and not really needed... If 3M is properly prepped and used should be more than enough.

Sounds like a lot of the 3M tape provided with these non OEM spoilers are too small...

What does the stock spoiler use?

Worried about the leading edge not fitting flush and water getting...which then causes lifting.

My spoiler is out for delivery! I don't have a heat gun at home but I do have fishing line and the womans hair dryer! Did you use a heat gun to remove OEM spoiler? How long did it take you?

EDIT: just got mine from RW Carbon well packaged and protected. It does indeed have a small hole underneath.
EDIT 2: Just installed mine..took 4 freaking hours to do, taking off that OEM residue consumed most of my time. I ended up getting a heat gun, not sure how i would have done it without it.

awesome!

Looks good, very similar to starvmarv

How was the installation process?

What tape did you use to attach the spoiler!?

Is the leading edge of the spoiler flush with the trunk lid? It looked like a few of these Exotics Tuning replicas leave an ever-so-slight gap..

Afraid of water getting in there and subsequently lifting the adhesive....

Looks exactly like the rw spoiler. Thanks for sharing. If I ever decide to get something from them, I feel much more confident in ordering.

Installation was easy. Nylon String and Goo Gone to remove old spoiler.

3M Double sided tape to attach new spoiler.

Placed the tape just inside of the "lips" of the spoiler.

Sits incredibly flush. Definitely not worries about any water getting inbetween the spoiler. I placed the tape so there was no gap during installation.
