Rechecked fitment

I checked. My mirror cap replacements fit great. My son has same car and neither of us could see any difference in fitment. I took some pics and will try to remember how to post. Weave also is good with even clear coat on caps.
They installed without any issues, like OEM. Just clicked in.

We are heading up to Pomona Thursday to get another set and a spoiler. I'll look closely at both before we leave and post pics.

I just received mine yesterday. Both the mirror caps and the spoiler look great. Now my car just has to arrive and I will be set

I would like to order the mirror caps and trunk spoiler for my m235i. Are you guys ordering directly from the rw website, or through bimmerpost? Is there a forum discount or best price? Ready to order now.

I got mine from RW directly.

Unfortunately I noticed today that my passenger's side is delaminating or something. See the photo attached. I sent them an email just now - I suspect it'll be no problem to get a replacement but we'll see. I've had them on the car for about a month or so now.

(and a gratuitous car shot because why not and it shows the caps installed on blue)

I appreciate it stroids88! I may be able to stop by tomorrow afternoon as well. If someone ran into my mirror and damaged it then I obviously expect nothing but to buy a replacement cap from them

My experience has been that they are good guys Who stand behind their product so I'm sure they will make it right somehow.

Probably there already but are you still in Tustin? I live on the border of Tustin and Irvine.

What is the problem exactly, is it in the clear coat?
Just so I'll know what to look out for, perhaps there is some preventive maintenance to be done.

The spoiler went on beautifully. I'll post a couple of pics. By the way goo gone did not work well 70% alcohol was pretty tough as well and my neighbor came over with some citrus liquid nonabrasive and it worked unbelievably well.

Line it up first.
Make rabbit ears on the red 3M tape so once you lay it down flat you just grab the rabbit ear and zip it out

I just got to RW Carbon (about thirty minutes after they closed) and Matt was more than happy to replace my caps as well. He was also willing to stay well after they were supposed to close as I battled my way to their office.

He said that the earlier run of caps has a clear coat that doesn't do well with heat - causing problems like we see. They've switched to a clear coat that does not have the problem (and it could be my imagination but I think they look better now too).

A+ rating for RW. I'd certainly be back.

Thanks for the reply. I went ahead and ordered the mirror caps, spoiler, and license plate frame. Can't wait to get them on!

Looking around for pictures of a front lip and diffuser, and may order those as well if I like them and the price is reasonable.

Thank you for the order, will have tracking info for you Monday

We just got in the 3D style CF lip, we should have installed pictures very soon. Diffuser coming in about a month.
