No messages in Connected Drive Menu
I'm trying to get the connected drive app set up with my m235. The app is telling me to confirm my vehicle by entering the code sent to my messages in the connected drive section. When I go into my connected drive section from my main menu there is not a messages section to go into to see what the code is to link the app with the vehicle. I had this set up on my F30 328 and had no issues getting it up and running because I had a message section on there, yet on my 2016 m235 I can't seem to get it up and running, so I can have gps tracking and be able to lock and unlock via the app. I just updated the iDrive system yesterday so it's up to date. I hope some other members can shed some light into this issue thanks.

Any update/fxi to this?
I'm also having this issue, on an f82 though, all of a sudden my car wouldn't receive locations sent to the sat nav. and then the messages menu under ConnectedDrive completely went away. |

You have to contact BMW ConnectedDrive services they will let you know if your F82 has an active subscription or not. They will request you send them proof of insurance and registration to verify your the owner. I found out my previous F30 had an active subscription but my F22 did not. I haven't purchased a subscription for it yet, because I bought my F22 a few weeks before the pandemic hit my area so I haven't driven it much this year. I plan on getting it once I start driving it more. Hope this helps take care.
