Hi, another question. I have a 2015 m235i so missed out on the satnav coming as standard, is there anyway to have this retrofitted, either by doing it yourself or by a third party other than bmw? Can it be done online etc remotely?

I had Steve @codemybimmer configure and send me a satnav fully set up for my car based on my Vin.

My car did not have an ATM telematics unit so I don't get online services, but it does come with apple carplay fully unlocked.

I made some incredibly unprofessional videos of the installation that I posted recently. Took about an hour to install.

YIKES! Try google maps! I have nav in my car and I've never used it. I use google maps even when overseas.

Lots of cheaper options. The 10.25" Android screens are $500 or less or can get an 8.8" OEM screen and a carplay/AA interface
