Wash Day

Show off those sexy cars all wet and soaped up! This by far my most favorite car.

Nice soapy car's but you shouldn't stand in direct sunlight when washing it ain't good if the shampoo dries before you have a chance to wash it off.

In my hometown here in Sweden it's illegal these days to stand and wash you car on the driveway due to the residues going down the "daily" drainage system witch ain't filtered and runs out straight to a lake nearby witch we actually get our drinking water for the whole town, i guess it makes sens ....So i built my own drainage system in my Garage with a so called own filtering system where all the water runs out and it takes about 10-15 years for the water to pass down then its filtered completely when it reaches ground water levels.

Well, it was 8 o'clock in the morning when I washed it so I was not worried about drying and I am sure to keep the car wet and soapy. Thanks for the reminder. Also, I am impressed with your resourcefulness. You built your own drainage and filtering system. That is impressive.

Let me apologize if i came of as a dick, din't mean it like that i just remember once when i stod outside washing my car when i was a newbie at this and was standing outside with the scorching sun just happily washing away the car without realizing what it did to the car when washing it in blistering heat and gazing sun outside. But as you said it was the morning hours usually the sun ain't so strong then.

These days i have the possibility to wash the car at home indoors in my own garage, picture below after washing both mine and my girlfriends car. I build the garage with my father and also build in the drainage system as you can see in the middle of the picture that drainage goes outside to the back yard in to a natural cleaning with sand and stones. That was what i meant with it.

LOL! No, I did not take it as if you were being a dick. I took it as good info and I am pretty sure some other person may be able to use the info as well. Nice garage and 1 Series. I just recently read an article on the 1M and now I am mad that I missed out the exclusivity. The prices are going up on those cars.

Nice! I prefer hard liquor to beer and I drink three glasses. One to wash, one to dry, and one afterwards while I am sitting admiring my wash and wax/polish.

Low mileage 1M's are in the $80k range right now in the US.

Foam gun I would assume. There's a gun and a cannon I use the less powerful version mine is by chemical guys. It's a LOT of fun. My F23 I don't even really have to do anything besides soap it up, let it sit for a min and rinse. Not a DD.
