E85 and west coast (BC) gas

Anyone here using e85 to mix up their own high octane e10? I.e. 94 Chevron w e85?

Ive been doing it for past few months. 94 husky with 10% ethanol and i add either e98 or e85 to bring it up to 95 octane and 18% ethanol

Cool. Have you seen a difference using the same grade gas with or without ethanol? E.g
91 Chevron w ethanol vs 91 shell (no ethanol I believe)?

91 shell and costco gas bogs the car. Gas with 10% ethanol i can see the timing is better. Go 18-20% ethanol and timing is really good but the fuel
System tends to get near maxed out. Gotta find the balance. But in general a little bit more ethanol and the car loves it. Im talking with a jb4 here. If youre just stock then 91 or 94 with regular 10% ethanol is what i suggest

Anyone else notice it takes a half sec longer to crank with E20? I've been doing Husky 94 and 2 gallons of E85, every third or fourth tank I run straight V power through it to flush out the fuel system. FBO Bootmod3
