Replacing windshield washer pump

Is replacing the washer pump in a 2015 228i pretty much the same procedure as in a 3 series? There are several videos on youtube showing 3 series replacement but I could not find one for a 3 series.

Mine has started playing up too, time to take the plunge and change it. Do I have to get oem or will Ebay do?
