Glass Scratches

I have a few small scratches on my front windshield and one on my driver side window. Not quite sure how I got them but likely ice scrapper. They are not in line of sight but a bit annoying. I’ve seen suggestions to use toothpaste to rub scratches out. Anyone with any experience or advice?

use a mild solvent like isopropyl alcohol to clean out the scratch to make it less visible.
