Ambient lighting install

2 of my friends recently bought a g20 m340i and was really digging the ambient lighting they had.
I was already a little bummed out that the f22's dont come with any sort of interior lighting (apart from the soft glow from the 2 overhead ones) so seeing my friends cars pushed me over the edge and I decided to do something about it
I robbed the door handle lighting harness for power so i can still control the brightness via the iDrive system and it auto turn on with the rest of the interior lights

Nice! I'd personally set the lights to the BMW orange for an OEM+ look. I put in some Govee lights from Amazon in my footwells but this looks more factory. BTW, where did you get the lights? Definitely interested.

Pretty sure OP plans on selling the kit, so he wont be giving out DIY instructions for a reason.

For those who are asking there was no real "kit" i had to source some parts from amazon and ebay. Which i linked below

The LED light strip from amazon is thinner than the rgb fiber optic ones so it gives it a cleaner look in my option at the cost of only being a single color.

For power I just cut and tapped into anything that lights up at night (for example the light in the door handles) so they only come on when the headlights turn on and you can control the brightness using the idrive settings

It took me the whole day to take apart the interior, cut / drill holes in the right spots, cut and solder wires, and making sure everything works.

did the color change with the idrive system? trying to do the same with my F22 but where i control the color via the idrive screen.
