Sick, the crowd is growing... We should all get together before it snows and check out the 2 series

Sounds good to me, although this weekend is tough for me as I have a wedding to go to up in Northern NH on Saturday.

Guys when is the safe time to switch over to winter tire/wheel? I have oem with LM32 (non rft), heard i cant drive those above 60 degrees. Also the Super sports arent safe in the cold so timing is crucial

Thanksgiving week should be good or earlier?

Damn a gray one too. Why aren't they on the forum ! lol.

I'm sure if we can agree on weeknight we can make that work if it's easier for everyone...

I would change over to your full winters once you are sure the temps are staying down under 60.

I have the Pirelli all-seasons on my m235, I'm going to see how this year goes. Then next year probably break down and buy some wheels and performance cold weather tires.

I have the summer only run flats. They seem ok still.

I'm thinking once temps stay consistently below 50 degrees I'm making she switch. I know winter tires wear very fast if used above a certain temperature.

We should definitely get together. I've actually never seen a 235 very curious about them. Though I do think the M Sports got the better looking wheels.

I would have gone with the 235, but I wanted the higher mpg as this is my only car. My wife has a Jetta Sportwagen so that takes care of my utility needs.

Estoril Blue / Black Dakota M235i xDrive, 8sp manumatic here Portsmouth / Newmarket / Exeter NH area. Just got her about 10 days ago. Totally loving this car. It has everything my 135i had and more. If I had one thing to change, I would prefer a mechanical steering system like the 135i. The electronic steering is a little numb to me.

Tons of brake dust from these pads. Thinking that it may curb off as the pads age, but that is wishful thinking.

It won't go away...I use armor all wheel protectant....works really well otherwise I'd be washing my wheels every single day....I normally don't use Armor All products but a lot of BMW people said this stuff works, and it does. I have the msport 228 wheels so they're a lighter color than the 235s....without the protectant my wheels are gray within 30 miles...now I go 2 weeks between washes.

My only mods thus far are the P3 gauge, but I am planning on intake, some brand performance exhaust, and a JB4 tuner.

I hate the brake pads, but they stop on a dime. They just dust up like crazy.

Someone else referred me to a product called Wheel Wax, similar thing, but I'm going to try it out. http://www.autogeek.net/whwaxcarca.html

Just picked up my Mineral white m235i on Friday. The dealer told me it is the first in Maine. Unfortunately weather has kept it garaged since then. Looking forward to some better weather or my snow tires to arrive.

I have OEM tires on my 2015 and I was under the impression I'd be ok for the winter?

Not me. I'm probably going to leave mine stock. It's my daily driver and I can't really afford to mod it that much.

I have just over 2,000 miles on mine now and so far, the car has much more power than I need as a daily driver.

Agreed. I use a wheel wax, which so far, seems to work pretty well. The wheels still get pretty nasty - especially around here with all the damn construction up and down the I-93 corridor, but most of it seems to wash off pretty easily. I'm hoping to get one more coat of wax on the car and wheels before this winter really sets in and it gets too cold to wax any more.

Yep! That's what I use. So far, I like it.
