USB Iphone disconnecting

My iphone keeps disconnecting and back. I change the cable and is still happening. I had used the same iphone and cable in another car and it works fine. Has anyone else had this issue?

When I had a continuity problem with my phone it turned out the phone was causing it -- an accumulation of pocket lint in the lightning cable socket. Easy to clean out with a toothpick or similar.

it happens with android too, pain in the ass when trying to charge.

I ended up getting a 12v adapter and hid it in the console. Now i never have an issue. I went through 3 cables thinking that was the issue.

+1, cleaning out lint from the connector fixed the rapid connect/disconnect issue I was facing too.
