I just did a quick count of the 2017 M240i "Manufacturer Communications" by BMW communication number (which correlates with the SIB number) and there are 130 unique ones in the 199, the others are all duplicates that have been filed multiple times, at different dates, likely due to small changes such as adding a vehicle model that wasn't originally in the SIB.

I'm a newbie to BMW nomenclature - I have no idea what the difference is between an M2 and an M240! I do know these cars are complex - and that we need to keep the dealer on notice that we know about TSBs and hidden warranties!!!!

Is this the same sound you guys are hearing?

Mine is 2014 M235i. Around 2-3 yrs ago, I noticed the sound was louder with BMS spacers, so I removed the spacers and the ticking clicking noise was reduced. However, it has gotten louder again. I am hoping this friction ring can eliminate this annoying noise.
