Given the minivan 2 lifts over, I'm not certain this was the right type of garage to bring a Lotus to...

Edit: Ah...so it's a Goodyear shop and the owner's father-in-law is the service manager...still...

I don't know how many of you also checked out the rest of his website -- but he is taking it well because the Elise, well, it's just a car. He has a son who is severely disabled: http://www.my914-6.com/hunter/index.htm

It really sucks about his car but reading that page puts it in perspective. My heart goes out to him and his wife for their daily struggles.

Gosh the poor little boy. I'm at a total loss of words but I understand what you mean about the Elise just being a car, really does put things in perspective...

I wonder why it was jacked up so high just to change the tires? WTF?

I've watched my old car get new tires and it was only about a foot off the ground if that.

On another note, I'd buy that car after the insurance totaled it.
