Anyone running a JB+?

Bought one just to hold me over until I can get all my parts installed. Those that do have one, have you noticed a difference in low end torque and top end power? Also, is it safe to run +4 psi on the stock charge pipe?

There is definitely more power overall. There is less turbo lag too, which is why I got it.

The default settings are "safe" but the charge pipe will always be at risk for breaking, even stock.

Best to upgrade sooner then waiting for it to break.

Strangely enough, I tried to buy a charge pipe from you guys today and I couldn't because it wouldn't let me set my address to an APO, your website doesn't have Armed Forces Europe as an option for state in the drop down. Is this because you dont ship to APO addresses?

JB+ is great! Running max settings for the past 2.5 years on stock, everything...I recently installed full cat back + midpipe Fabspeed exhaust. It is safe to run +4psi IMO on max setting.

Perhaps it's different with the automatic cars, but I can tell my M235 6MT 93 octane doesn't like the +4 psi setting on the Dinan Sport when the temps exceed 75 degrees or so and the motor is heat soaked. The power delivery can also feel inconsistent, especially in 3rd and beyond. I've found the best setting is 2-2.5 psi (Sport setting on the Dinan Sport). The power delivery is very consistent and the motor feels willing and flexible.

Interesting. I'm in Texas and had 100+ degree summers days, consistently. Maybe I'll see about adjusting in lower it to 2.5psi and see if I feel if there's a different feel in power delivery. However, I'm running JB+.

I'm running a VRSF FMIC, heat shouldn't be much of an issue. Just out of curiosity, is the power increase consistent throughout the powerband or mostly <4.5k?

Stock charge pipe? I've heard that can crack with stock boost pressure.. interesting.

I find the power increase in the 2-2.5 psi setting to be similar to the Sport+ setting (~3 psi), but the power increase is consistent and linear all the time and throughout the entire power band. The motor feels more flexible, willing to rev, and sails to the 7,000rpm redline. In the Sport+ and Race settings, the power can come on hard or slow and the taller gears can feel flat sometimes. I can tell the DME isn't happy sometimes in Sport+ and Race. My guess is the DME in the Sport setting is allowing for more timing, thus the power increase feels better and more consistent.

Here's my detailed review on the Dinantronics and what I believe is going on in the various settings, which should coincide with the JB+ as they do the exact same thing (simply add additive boost):

From the pole i ran a month ago, it seemed that 25% of ppl broke a charge pipe, tuned or not tuned, and more like 60% of tuned ppl broke it.

if you live in a colder climate, it hold together better, but once the stock charge pipe gets hot, it turns into putty, bends, and more boost will pop that thing.

Our website specifically is only set up for US 48 states shipping but we ship worldwide. Just shoot us an email with your address and what you'd like to order.

Hi OP,
Strongly recommend upgrading the charge pipe when tuning your car.
