BMW M Rocker Panel Blades OR Decals

Hey guys,

I was wondering what the difference was between having the rocker BLADES and the DECALS. I'm looking to have the side skirts painted, covered in one of these options, and then wrapped in clear protective wrap. Wanted to see if someone knew the real difference here.
I'm assuming the "blades" are a thicker plastic piece, than the decals. Is there a benefit to these, if that is in fact the case...? Is one harder to install than the other...?

Thanks in advance,
Ryan

I have both on my 235 and love the look. Two very different pieces: The decals apply to the vertical face of the rocker and give the car a nice side profile. The side blades attach to the underside and are small pieces of plastic—I had mine painted to match the car. The decal gives a nice separation between body/blade and really helps to make the side blade pop a bit. The blades are very small compared to whats offered for M3/4, etc, so the decal gives enough punch to make the two-part system pretty nice for the overall look of the car. I'll try to get a photo tomorrow.

I have the rocker decal but not the blades. imo the blades are barely even noticeable vs the decals. I feel the decals give more show vs the blades.

A bit dirty, but gives you an idea of the look.
