Nicely done...please share more about how you did the whisker wrap. My local wrap guy who did my side window mouldings said he couldn't do a good job on the whiskers due to their shape and inability to be removed. How did you do it? I was almost ready to mask and spray with black gloss Plastidip. Can you post a close-up please?

Thanks in advance.

I'll take a close up but that's when you'll see it's not perfect. You can't easily avoid creases as because it's curved it doesn't fold underneath perfectly.
It's done in the cheapest black wrap I found on eBay. Couple of dollars in your money. When viewed from a standing position you it looks perfect.

As you can see, not perfect but to be fair this was my first attempt and I spent all of 5 minutes a side on it.

Thanks again...my wrap guy is such a perfectionist that he didn't want to try.

I would have thought to a professional or anybody with patience it's straightforward.
I'm ok with my efforts given that you can't tell from a difference

I agree. I think for him, once he realized the geometry, and that he couldn’t find how to remove the part safely, he couldn’t figure out how to be perfect.

For sure. Low price, low effort, low risk.

3M vinyl wrap. I feel like it gives the bottom lip some reference, finishing off the line of the car. That and it hides all the rock chips!!

Inpreda on eBay. The first one arrived cracked and the paint looked horrible. Seller shipped another at no cost and this one obviously arrived in one piece. Paint looks pretty good, definitely not perfect, but for the price I'm not complaining. The imperfections I see are a tiny bit of orange peel around the top (less than 4 inches in area) and a few pin sized spots. None are noticeable unless you're a couple inches away. I really like this one because it looks OEM, not like some of the other Chinese ones out there.

Shipping took about a month on the second one because I told them to take their time with the paint. Very happy so far, we'll see how the install goes!

Let us know how install goes, what the fitment is like and how the color match is. Do you happen to know if it requires the exhaust tip extensions like the standard OEM diffuser?

Never understood that.
