Car wont move after new wheels installed
I purchased 18x8 Enkei Raijin wheels and installed them on the car using lug bolts provided by the site where I bought them from.
When I went to move the car, it moved about half an inch then wouldn't move. I immediately shut the car off, looked for any obstruction then started searching for the cause. Turns out the lug bolts provided are longer than OEM, so I swapped them out and the car drives as normal. My question now is, is there any way to confirm that my original lug bolts are safe to use with these wheels? I checked tire rack (not the site I bought the wheels from) and it appears they recommend using OEM hardware. Thanks in advance, it was a long night. |

You should be A okay with using stock hardware. OE BMW bolts are conical, which most aftermarket wheels are designed to use. No concerns really!
