So I was installing the Pro Clip mount for my phone holder in my car just now and went to plug in the power adapter in the 12V under the glove box. The hole is there, but there's no plug! After consulting the manual, it shows one is supposed to be there.

Do you guys have one in your 2? If so, looks like BMW forgot to install it.

OK - I've found some threads where certain BMW models just don't have it. My F30 had 2 ports, but it looks like U.S. 2'ers only get the 12V port in the center console

So I am guessing that you guys won't have it either.

There is a second 12v port in the back side of the center console for backseat occupants. But under the glove box looks like a better place as no one ever sits in the back haha

True - there is one in the back, but I was really hoping the usual under the glove box one would be there. Will see if I can get it retrofitted; otherwise will try to get the blend mount done for the radar detector so I can free up the center console 12v.

Way to cut costs / corners BMW!!

Here is what i did to free up the 12v port for my radar detector. Its a bit more then maybe you would do but might give you an idea to be able to tap into the power without using the port.

Thanks! Yeah I've been thinking about tapping into some other power source for the radar detector; at least that'll free up the console port.
