228i BM3 Stage1

Hi all. I know there are very few dyno charts for N20 so I would like to contribute mine.

I have done a stock test and a BM3 stage 1 OTS 91 Octane test to see actual gains.

The relevant mods on the car are are:
- Mishimoto intercooler
- Masata Aluminium turbo to intercooler pipe
- Masata Aluminium charge pipe
- GFB DV+
- K&N drop in filter

Both tests were done on RON95 gas ( 91 octane ).

Problem is, when I have done some pulls, I get knock detected and timing looks a bit weird to me ( compared to other logs I've seen from other cars ). I attached screenshots of the knock events.

Any feedback would be appreciated, as the only answer I got from BM3 support was "Overall looks very clean, nice timing curve.", which does not clarifies my knock issues.

I think the problem is bad gas in my country, but I have very little experience reading logs, so please pitch in.

Done a few more logs last night to check if I could use this tune on the track with better gas.

The map I used is ACN91, should target lower octane gas and I filled with RON100 gas. This was my third fill-up with RON100 so leftovers from the previous RON95 should be minimal to non-existing.

RON100 should be about 93 Octane.

I did 5 pulls, got Knock events on 3 out of 5.

I went through all logs and it appears to be cylinder 3 all time doing this. I would check the injector spray pattern, it may be bad and cause this.
Finding help with this is proving rather hard, which is why I went with BM3 in the first place, to avoid looking for local tuners since I'm not sure there are any local experts, most just flash your car with the same file and take your money and they usually do diesels, because that's what 90% drive in my country. The search goes on.

I also don't understand Halim's conclusion, when I look at the logs I see timing being retarded on different cylinders, on last 3 logs there is a different cylinder every time ( 2, 4 then 3 ).

But maybe I'm reading it wrong, an wiki on how to interpret logs would go a long way.
