Noticeable lag after charge pipe and street FMIC install

So! Yesterday I went about the PITA task of swapping the old in with the new. I'm running the JB+ on the 4 psi setting currently. I ensured all the hoses and clamps were snug, and the car isn't throwing any codes after 5 driving cycles. After install of the jb+ with only the BMS intake, car was brought to life. Comfort mode was sport mode and sport mode was a rocketship. Now comfort mode throttle response requires more to rev, and it feels like I've lost low end. Is there any way to tell if there is a leak? Shouldn't it throw a code if the MAF isn't seeing enough air or cool enough inlet temps? OR does the size of the VRSF FMIC require more air, thus killing turbo spool?

Has anyone else experienced this?

Did you swap all the rubber o-rings in the charge pipe? I didn't notice a big change in response with intercooler and charge pipe install.

I did. I'm going to get it on a lift next week and see if everything is still securely fastened.

You might have a boost leak.. but the size of the FMIC can cause it too

Wasnt a leak. Mechanic plugged into the vacuum on the charge pipe and tested it, all sealed up. Car was used to driving with restrictive factory charge pipe and shit its pants when all the extra air from my tuner/less restrictive charge pipe. I reset the driving/shift characteristics of my comfort mode and shes back to driving like a champ. What kind of issues do you have?

Lower max boost. I was seeing 15 before, now 12-13. I'm not hearing any weird sounds. I'll give the reset a try.

So how do you like the FMIC and CP upgrade compared to stock? Is it worth the trouble of the install? I'm on the fence right now.

I'm seeing a good difference in intake temps. Remember, CP is preventative and IC doesn't add power, it just keeps you from losing power.

I guess I didn't have a boost leak. I check target boost vs actual and they were very close. I also looked at older logs and I'm hitting the same PSI. I know I've seen higher numbers on the BM3 dashboard(15), but the logs were lower (13)
