Thank You! No fits fine but I am going to roll the fenders before my next track day. It's damn close. 225 up front was fine at the track but 235 with that specific tire might rub. I forgot to include the offset on my post. I'll update that. ET35.

I love this rims and the set up, just need some clarification. Noticed the front and rears tires are 30/19s, may I ask what was his reasoning for this set-up? Also, are the H/R springs too low so he had rolled his inner fender? I appreciate the feedback. Thanks! 1L

I'm not 100% sure as to why the customer ran a 30 series both front and rear. We typically recommend 225/35 | 255/30.

This is the first we've seen of our 19" setup needing fender modification. This includes several customers who have the same spring/tire (brand/model) setup. This leads us to believe that there may be another variable (alignment/camber spec, etc)

Hey Mitch, this is Alan M. who just emailed you for a quote on V803. I appreciate you reply on this post also. Just wanted a logic test on what VMR typically recommends vs customer's request for tire set-up. VMR does make these wheels specifically for the 2 series, correct? If that's the case, will spacers be even required? By the look of it with H&Rs, it's lowered spot on!

Hey Alan!

Our wheels are available from 8.5-11" with a wide range of offsets. Through R&D and customer feedback, we are able to come up with our recommended fitments.

Spacers would not be required. This is about as aggressive as you can go on the 2-series without modification (outside of 1 anomaly). There is room to play with other tire sizes/specs etc., but then that typically goes outside the territory of "plug-n'play."

I went with a 235 up front, I felt a 235/35 would rub. The rub with the 235/30 was so slight but I am picky so I had them slightly rolled.

Hey Puck, thanks for chiming in. I appreciate the feedback. How's the suspension feel with 235/30 and H&R together in contrast to stock? Is it a bit harsh or is it manageable?

Just wanted to share a recent photo shoot I did with VMRWheels. This will probably be the last shoot before the car goes under the knife for widebody.

BSM M235i on VMR V810

Sorry for the very delayed response/iPhone photo, but here is another picture in the sunlight. I've had the wheels a few weeks now and have had no issues. They look great on the 2 series
