Interior trim replacement is easy. Here are the steps to replacing trim as I did on my 2017 M240i convertible / F23. Takes approximately 30 minutes. Tools needed: Torx #20, plastic trim pry tool - got mine on Amazon cheap.

Lift from the right.

Lift from the left. Grip with both hands and lift to release each clip, working your way forward.

Remove the 7 torx #20 screws. Swap centers. Insert the 7 screws. Do not over-tighten! Do not under-tighten or controls will be loose. Snap trim into place in reverse order of removal.

Pry from bottom. Grip with fingers. Pull out and up.

Seven tabs hold vent to trim. Find side with three of the seven and easily release them with your finger or gently with plastic trim removal tool. Insert vent into new trim, four tab side first, then three tab side.

Open glove box door. Grab trim with fingertips and pull. Replace vent with same procedure described for driver's side (release vent from trim using three tab side)

Insert plastic trim removal tool here, at bottom.

Pry.

Keep prying along the forward edge and as you near the top it will release.

To assemble, insert the "L",

With "L" where it fits, properly position top of trim.

Snap into place from top to bottom. If "L" was not first positioned in the first step it will be obvious an you won't be able to snap trim to door.

Do you have any photos of these at night and during the day?
The only thing I like about the white carbon fiber is the way it looks at night and many people have pointed out and complimented the white carbon fiber at night. Gives it a spaceship-like feel.

Great information. Can you post the supplier and part number you used? Also, did it come ready to install? Clips and all?

Click accessories, then f22 f23
Item number 51952333984 can (presently) be found on page 2.
Yes, all clips included.
Get the nylon trim tool elsewhere (Amazon).

Great post! Thanks for this. I'm going to try wrapping the pieces in carbon fiber to see how I like it. Will most likely purchase the real carbon trim pieces if so

For those of you that have recently ordered this kit, did you receive 4 or 5 pieces?
I just received mine and its missing the left side dash vent assembly as shown above. I questioned my supplier who ordered a second kit for me but that also was missing the piece so I'm not sure if BMW made a change even though the part number is the same.

Thanks,
John
