Recomended to be done with any oil change.
On my GT (MY16 - UK RHD) it was as follows: Remove panel on left of driver's footwell (T20 TORX - single). The panel comes away with the footwell light attached. Reaching towards the far end of the footwell on the left wall, you feel/see a small flap. Push that back and the microfilter cover opens up. You can see the top filter and a little of the lower filter (unlike the 320 above, there are TWO filters sitting one above the other). Using longnose pliers, get the first one out, then manoeuvre the lower one up and out. It's a bit fiddly and you may find it better to lie across the front seats with your head in the footwell. Replacement is the reverse, making sure you take note of the airflow arrows on the ones you have taken out. Put the first one in, then push it down so there is room for the second one to go in on top. I got mine for £11 a pair (active charcoal ones from Bilstein) from Mister Auto. http://www.mister-auto.co.uk/en/poll...ADB112512.html Took 10-15 minutes in total. |
