I'm having the same issue, my car includes a few M sport accessories and the prices on the order sheet are higher (significantly) than this catalog MSRP prices. What's the deal with that? I do want them port installed so they can be residuallized in the lease but don't want to get ripped off ?? Help!!

New to the forum, and thought I'd tell you guys a bit about my car.
Got the car in February, mineral white with the following: - Black Grill - M exhaust with chrome tips And will install the following when I'm back home on leave in June: - Carbon fibre trim - Black Front splitter - Carbon fibre trunk lip Was going to install a LSD as well, not BMW's, but will do that later on. Will also do some upgrades so that I get 390hp/540Nm, but as it costs a bit to do all, I take it in stages. ![]() |

Updated M performance parts price list and help needed
Does anyone have an updated price list for all of the M performance parts for 2016 2 series?
I'm looking at building a 2016 M235i. I've been searching the threads and can't find a list that seems accurate. In addition, I've been quoted higher MSRPs for some of these parts on my dealer build sheet, compared to what I've seen posted by others. For example, I was quoted $220 for black kidney grills, $3240 for the LSD, and $250 for the stainless pedals. Also, when looking at the MSRP prices above, is it best to think that these prices are marked up similarly to how they would be with the vehicle cost (thus, dealer cost for the M-perf parts should be somewhere around ~7% less than MSRP?) My goal would be to add some M-perf parts at build so that they can be port-installed and residualized into my lease (versus adding them ala carte later). Thoughts? Is there a better way to go about doing this? Thanks everyone.. |

Help with pricing for a lease
So what's best strategy for pricing out the M-performance parts when negotiating a new car build for a lease? Does that mean that the carbon fiber mirror caps, for example, listed at $660 on the website, should run at least 20% less when I price them into a lease?
I want to add several M-performance options to my build for a new 2016 m235i, but since I'm leasing I want to be sure that I have a handle on "approximate" dealer cost so I don't get screwed by dealer markups. It's totally easy to figure out invoice price for the car, but once you start adding these options it seems way too confusing. Does the same strategy hold for the limited slip diff? For example, website lists the LSD at $2895. So that means I should get it for closer to around $2315? (-20%)? The dealer was quoting me around $3200 MSRP on my build sheet even though I want the options installed at port.. Help! Thanks in advance. |

Will the M performance suspension work on a 230 with adaptive suspension? I was looking at Dinan but if this will fit I would rather go with a BMW product.

I want to install the carbon trim in my M235 interior. Do you guys know where I can get the carbon trim at a good price? Looked on ebay but I am not sure if it is OEM or fake. Any ideas?

Try the classifieds section of this forum. They are usually in there from people upgrading or trading in.

This isn't the right thread for custom audio upgrades - it's for pricing of official BMW M-Performance parts. That being said if it's the fake engine sound (ASD) you're interested in turning off, there is a plug and play harness solution you can buy from Technic PNP (details in the audio forum). You can also code out ASD through one of the many available software solutions. Details for that are also in the audio forum. Do a search there.

Question...What would differentiate the m240i m performance edition from me just ordering an alpine white with all of these options port installed? Nothing other than the options being installed at the factory instead of port?
