As a long time Michelin fan, my 7-year old PS4S (Max Performance Summer) aged out, despite still having tread depth. I replaced them today with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02, based on this evaluation:
https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests...y.jsp?ttid=329 About 500 miles of break-in to go to fully enjoy them but the difference in harshness is immediately apparent. With the performance evaluation from the Rack, I expect this to be an improvement for me. ![]()

replaced the embarrassing and comment-worthy blistered and peeling 2018 RW Carbon kidney grills with some lovely new Kies Motorsports grilles. absolutely everything about the Kies kit is perfect. i remember that the grilles were a pain to replace back in 2018 and time has not made them any easier to swap out.
and yes, i contacted RW Carbon about the disintegrating grilles. they don't have a warranty for their products and say you have to maintain their carbon with a special care kit. i am finding it really hard to believe that all the carbon fiber in the world needs to be maintained with such care. |

Euro-grill swap
Not a big change but I've always liked the Euro-spec lower front grill look so I found a pair on eBay and swapped mine out on my '16 M235i 6MT vert. The trim bar matches the Ferric gray wheels.
Next I'll be swapping out the silver mirror caps for EBlue and also the silver interior trim bits for Fineline wood that I like better. I'm sure the car will drive even faster after these mods!

51118055956 Paid $68 total for the used pair shipped from UK (shipping cost more than the grills).
