AW M235i M performance kit, Exhaust, Steering Wheel
Hi there to everyone, picked up the car yesterday and thought i'd share some pics!
Flew to Scotland from London as dealer was cheaper than my local one (it gave a good excuse for a long drive back too ) Anyway, on arrival i was ushered into a little room with a tv??... http://vid1178.photobucket.com/album...er%20video.mp4 Steering wheel... http://vid1178.photobucket.com/album...031_180921.mp4 Parked up for the night in the hotel car park... First look at it in daylight... Scottish coast on the way home... cheers |

cheers the wheels really make the car pop!
Added a few new bits,M performance mats & pedals, before... and after... Brake pedal was a bit of a PITA but as per thread (think it was E90 one) it took 20 minutes to do, my own experience, you'll need a file to clean up the back of the pedal after drilling (i used a dremel) and a good pull to move the rubber out of the way gives you the space to do the bottom right bolt on the brake pedal. cheers |

The individualism of the M performance parts make the M235i .
Really want to fit the race display steering wheel!! How's the alcantara fit in with the rest of the trim, not a fan of the dry carbonfibre so thought of swopping out the original aluminium trim when fitted. If it's new guess you have no idea of look finish / wear to the alcantara wheel . |

If it was my DD i would probably change out the trim as the the dry carbon on the steering wheel looks a lot better than i thought it would but it doesn't look out of place. As to the alcantara wheel, first and foremost it feels fantastic in your hands, very direct as you'd expect from a racing steering wheel. Oil & water temp on display for me primarily, as to wear no idea but I've put some hand wipes in the boot for when needed, which is probably as best as you can do. |

it looks more complicated than a single piece, clever design but it would be nicer in carbon to match the wing and boot spoiler! (but the gloss black is a close match and works well with the black grill)
antenna to black, wrap or dipped (if possible to remove?) just to break up the white on the roof. cheers, i'll look into that Last edited by Fandango; 11-02-2014 at 04:35 PM.. Reason: edit |

Great looking car. But then I would say that as its near identical to mine, I went with the side strip and the non flashing light Alcantara wheel. Like your a lot.
Didn't get the whole disco themed room launch though........ And I did the same, flew up to Edinburgh to buy it and drove back last month. Great way to get to know the car. Like those mats, can I ask how much? |

Mats were about £120 for 4, which i thought was reasonable for BMW. can you post a pic up of yours? was tempted to go with the stripe, look forward to seeing whether you went black/grey or black, red! cheers |

Arh I see! Well worth the money then.
Thats not bad as you say, I've bought a couple of things from a BMW agent in Germany as parts are cheaper but they could only do the Mats at GBP110 anyway. Here you go. Car has just been detailed so looks a bit more shiny now than in this pic. |

Nice looking car! i like the skirt flares (whatever they're called) painted white just below the m skirt decal. I looked at a melbourne red car with the same colour coding at warrington BMW and it looked stunning! i think i've seen you post up about the agent in germany, sarah? i emailed her for a price on the MPE, she was cheaper but went with the dealer in the end to save the hassle. |
