Question M235/240

So my lease is do and I’d really like to get into a new m240 lease but my question is, I have aftermarket wheels (staggered set up), Remus axle back exhaust and black kidney grilles and was wondering if they’d fit on the m240. Thanks.

You'd probably have to ask the specific manufactures of those products (wheels + axle back). But I assume the blacked-out grills would fit, but I also know that the grills were semi redesigned for the LCI... (might have to ask a BMW genius for that one).

On a side note, how does the remus axle back exhaust sound compared to stock? also how was fitment? (Since I see you have a cabriolet aswell)

Appreciate the responses. The axle back sounds great compared to stock. I do wish that I could’ve done a full cat back because it’s a little quiet for my tastes. Vast improvement over stock but still.

Sorry forgot to mention, the fitment was spot on. I mean so much so that I’m hoping I can transfer the axle back and wheels to the 240 and that being pretty much the deciding factor on if I get a 240 vs going for something else like an S3 or C43 etc.

Also for what it’s worth, spoke to the mod shop that put the parts on my 235 and 1) wheels will be compatible 2) kidney grilles also 3) Remus axle back will not be.

So no issues with the 235 Remus on your 240?

I'll buy that exhaust off ya since you can't bring it to the 240

Should be no problems with the wheels - offset didn't change with 240; major change was the engine from N55 to B58.

So the 235 Remus will or will not fit the 240?

I was told by the mod shop I bought it from that it wouldn't fit the 240.

Not sure why you wouldn't inquire with the manufacturer? And honestly, can't see how different the two could be. Only way to tell would be the place the two side by side for comparison. It could be maybe just a small modification being needed to make it work...

Good luck
