Need help with my M235i badge
Hey guys, so my M235i came unbadged, I purchased a new badge (I wanted the matte black badge on my white m235i) but I want the placement to be close to stock as well..
Can anyone who has a badged M235i give me some rough measurements of the placement with pics? It would help out a bunch! Thank you in advance. |

OK guys - Let me clarify this a bit more...
My car is completely UNBADGED. Therefore I cannot tape a square around old badge. I need measurements only to get my new badge in the correct location. |

make a cardboard 'L' (or a full cutout) that fits your badge, with enough overhang to extend beyond the trunk edges (or the lower ledge). Go to a dealership on a Sunday (no salespeople) and fit it to a new car w/ badge, then mark the reference points of edge of trunk, etc. You now have a homemade template like what they use at the factory. Take it home, tape it in place, and fit your new badge with it.
Or, if you are near a BMW body shop, bring them a 6 pack and ask if they have a factory template - probably a 5 minute deal with one of those. |
