Do you find that Dash Command stops getting input from the ODB dongle after a bit? I am having this issue. It reads data for a while, and then stops receiving the data at some point while driving.

If I switch back to the gauges I made and then back to a skin I downloaded then it starts again. You can also set the refresh to a specific time interval.

Wow! I thought I was up there. 11k in 5 months since October 2016. And despite being stuck in traffic on 93 for a lot of those miles, I've enjoyed nearly every one of them. The miles I haven't enjoyed are the couple hundred my wife has racked up in my car...

Glad to see plenty of high mileage 2ers here. I just picked my 230i up March 10th and drive 75-100 miles daily for work so I will be joining your ranks in the coming year. Loving this car and how much it wants to be driven!

m235 bought new August 2015. I have 37000 miles. NOT ONE ISSUE

Guess what, being a police officer, I drive fast and hard (no tickets lol) and my both my front/rear breaks are up in less than 4k miles...so free brakes thanks to BMWs 50k maintenance-getting in for a free both axle brake job comfortably w 10k miles to spare. My service rep just shakes his head when I come in that he loves the fact its driven very hard...when my 50k is up I will slap some kind of tune on it for sure.

I'm curious to see how the B48/B58 hold up at 100k miles as a starting point

The B48 has been in Mini Cooper S's since 2014 iirc and had some issues with engine replacements due to issues with main bearings only on MT's iirc, Other than that I have not heard of a ton of B48 issues......the B48 was just introduced to the BMW 2 series this year in the 230....hopefully they got all the bugs worked out over on the Mini side of thee house

The B58 has been in the 340(?) for about 2 years and iirc they had some early water pump issues but no wide spread issues that I've read about so far.....again...not a lot of opportunity for true high mileage yet but there are a lot of shared components between B48/B58 so hopefully we wont see widespread issues.....

I don't really put a LOT of miles on mine, about average, but mechanically car has been great. The only downside was when they did my fuel pump recall a few weeks back, started seeing wonky behavior from gas gauge.

But I am at about 30k miles now, got the car in April of 2014.

48,200 miles. ED March 2014 with redelivery May 2014. 30 or so track days since then. No issues at all except 4 of 5 sets of pads/rotors from BMW under their free maintenance program - although I did pay out of pocket for four or five sets of tires. Great car that is great fun to drive.

+1. I just got a 230i. Haven't put a lot of miles on it yet, but am planning to hang onto it for a while. There's surprisingly little information on the B48/B58 issues, which I take as a good sign.

I am 400 miles away from 60K miles. Just put 1800+ on it this weekend driving from Columbia, SC to Syracuse, NY and back.

Hit a canyon on the highway in PA that put a nice dent in the lip of my passenger front wheel.

To put what I mean by significant miles I purchased my car in June of last year with just over 2700 miles on it. I have almost 17K on it now. Hasn't missed a beat. Overall I'm very content with my 2L motor and the comfort that it gives me when the temps are freezing with the Cold Weather Package. The lighting package is one of my favorite parts of the whole experience and I won't buy another BMW without them. I will be keeping this one for the long haul and it may just end up in the hands of my teenager when he deserves it one day in the future. Or I may just keep it for the daily when I buy that new Alpha sedan I have my eye on. After all, it's not called the Ultimate sit in the garage machine now is it?

Prost!!!
Nice comments here. I have the same sentiment. I put almost 50,000 miles on my 235i and I loved every minute of it. I recently moved to an M2 and so far I've loved every minute of driving it. In fact I've already put too many miles on it - nearly 4,500 miles in just 10 weeks. Gotta love these cars.

Only had my M240Xi since February and I'm already at 10,500. One issue with the AC unit coolant pump, but dealer provided an X5 loaner for the week it was down. What a damn fun car to drive as a daily commuter. Quiet, comfortable, and a beast when I ask her to be. I'm pretty conservative on the daily commute and I'm getting around 28mpg+\- so far with 80/20 highway/city driving. Not too shabby compared to what I thought it might be. My last commuter was an Accord I racked up 235,000 miles on in 8 years. Hoping this one does just as well. Very glad I ditched the two rear doors and got this coupe.

Just thought I would chime in since I've passed 64k miles and am still loving my car. Oil change this weekend and another Blackstone report to follow.

Just rolled 41,000km. Almost 30k in 1.5 years of ownership , personally, and that's only driving from May-November. I bought it CPO in winter of 2015/16 (was an exec 1yr lease car) and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Runs like a dream! Also went FBO/Meth this year, put 10k on since doing so, and it runs better than ever. No more carbon buildup on the tips since using meth!!!

Small update, I am at about 33k miles, 2014 M235i, the only real problem I have had so far has been the Nav computer.

It got replaced once when the car was 5 months old, but about a month back it started to show NO SIGNAL, and then reset. Took it in, got reprogrammed, and just happened again.

Bleh, hopefully it gets fixed this time.
