It would be in fem, though not sure of parameter off the top of my head. The following may help:

Exclamation

Hello to all,

Just got my hands on a 2018 F22 LCI and did almost all of the coding that could be done. So thank you all for your highly appreciated contribution for us to make this possible.

But I haven't been able to code the KOMBI part, given that my car ESYS does not show KOMBI, it only shows KOMBI2, and there are not coding options in letters, only in numbers, and when I open the subfolder it's just numbers as well (f.e.: "3000, 3001"). Has anybody else experienced this? Is there any workarounds? The car came with KOMBI_MID (100% digital cluster, but not like the F15 series, it's a smaller version of it)

Also, even though I did everything as Pikachu's coding sheet, can't get 2 things working:

1) Led front DRL's still turn off when turning signal on, I would like the DRL's to stay on, even with turning lights on
2) Led front DRL's still dimmer or get lower when turning headlights on. I would like the DRL's to not dimm when turning headlights on

Has anybody experienced this with a 2018 F22?

Thanks in advance for your time and help

Hello everyone,

does anyone know if I can code the function of automatically turning on PDC when getting close to the object (first red beep)?
My dad has that in his i3 and it's pretty handy.

Thanks!

Yes, but requires new hardware. Auto-PDC needs PMA module.

I guess it's not available in the 2017 M240i, right?

E-Sys Read Coding Data Help

Bimmerfest seems to be offline, so can anyone here help with an E-sys problem:
I have connected my F36 properly as an F020 via VIN and can read/save and activate the FA, read the ECU and pull SVT with no problems. However when I attempt to read the coding data of the CAFDs, I get the following error:

"Transaktions-Report: Aktion: Codierdaten lesen

FEM_BODY [40] [VIN]
READcps O.K.

CAFD_00000794_016_066_012 Ferhler:
File for "cafd_00000794-016_066_012" not found! [C012]"

I have never seen this error when reading coding data before...am I simply making a dumb bunny mistake?

Retrofitted, it would be possible.

Bimmerfest is online.
"not found [C012]" just means you need to update PSdZdata. You need matching CAF in C:\data\psdzdata\swe\CAFD to vehicle's SVT.

Ah so...thanks for the help! I will have to track down a gremlin in my system as I keep getting the error message: "Not Found
The requested URL /forums/forumdisplay.php was not found on this server." and only on Bimmerfest.

Now back to a remaining issue:

After successfully reading most of the CAFDs coding values for my F36, I still have a problem with 2 CAFDs that are not found:

ICM CAFD_00000678_002_015_001
KOMBI CAFD_000009C8_006_004_101

I have E-Sys 3.27.1, Launcher v2.8.0.143, PSdZData_v3.63.3.Lite.rar and my I-Step is F020-17-11-530.

Any suggestions?

You need additional files from ista. They are included in link. Add to cafd directory in psdz.

Is it possible to enable the speed limiter in Sport+ Mode?
Or the other way round; can I code DTC on in Sport Mode?

DSC is to aggressively reducing the engine power, even if I had just a little slip some km ago, it allows nearly no torque when accelerating after a stop at a traffic light.
This is why I am driving in Sport+ all the time now (I shift manually anyway so high rev in cold conditions is not an issue). However, when I decide to use the speed limiter it switches back to Sport mode.

Hello, I am fairly confident now (after watching like 100 videos on youtube of how to code) - and I will attempt to code several features tomorrow (corner lighting, Horn on lock, fuel reserve range, etc).

I have a question regarding the locking sound...

whats the difference between CLM_HORN_AT_SECURE and ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM ? i assume the second is an acoustic lock inside the car when the doors lock at a specific speed?

Horn is sounded when locking car with engine on.
Alarm is sounded when locking with engine off.

so, i coded it and everything went well!

except the car locking sound... the menu option appeared, but i cant toggle it on or off. its not greyed out either.

i read somewhere that some options take time to enable, so im going to go back in an hour and see if it changed. also... in the cheat sheet notes for that option, it mentioned something about configuration via FZD / CANSINE. is this some other coding i need to do?
