Motyl Gear 75W85 For Differential

Anyone using this over BMW G1 Gear Oil 83222295532 ?
.
. Motul Website says : Fully synthetic hypoid gear oil G1 for cars with non-
limited slip diff axle.

Redline says their MT-85 is an equivalent & Their GL-5 75W85 will not harm the
differential and is superior in protection over the BMW $70 Gear Oil.
.
.
Any Input?

I know the fluids are lifetime fill, but I do know a few people who change it out.

here it mentions the fluid should be GL4 instead of 5, and most go with Redline (though I haven't seen anyone say "why"). I would just do some reading before pulling the trigger, sorry I don't have an easy answer for you.

Decision Made - OEM

https://www.fcpeuro.com/public/asset...5e.?1582663895

1. Not good to mix GL-4 with GL-5 -- unable to get all the old fluid out
says stay with OEM Fluid.

2. GL-5 has been found to be acceptable because the differential in our
cars do not achieve high enough temps to release the corrosive GL-5
additives. Not willing to bet on temp range ~ Check another win for OEM Fluid.

3. Found (2) highly respected users of the F-Series platform say stick
with OEM fluid.

Broke down and purchased the over priced OEM fluid.
Redline Fluid GL-4 WAS MY 2ND choice MT-85 but probably the better Fluid

I run redline, it's just oil though, can't tell if it's good or bad.
