ZF8 transmission oil leak

Hello! I think I'm having a transmission oil leak. Car was serviced at the dealer a couple times and never was there any mention of it, but some independent shops who did exhuast work on my car noticed it and notified me, so I took it back to the dealer and got them to take a video. The pan looks soaked in the video. I've attached a screenshot.

Car only has 15k miles and I believe it may have been leaking as early as at 5k miles when I first got my exhuast installed. because the car was new we thought it may just be condensation and didn't investigate further till I was notified of it again at another shop now at 15k miles. Really hoping that no damage has been done during this time.

From what I'm seeing, trans leaks appear to be very uncommon for the ZF8. I haven't been able to find a thread with similar issue and everyone says these boxes are bullet proof. I believe it's just a defect and am hoping that it just needs a new pan and fluid (hopefully under warranty) but I will update the thread when I can.

Take the car to the dealer as it's under warranty.

Yikes, do you recall running over anything on the road?

Never ran over anything.. Car is lowered but not extremely.. I honestly think it just wasn't torqued correctly from factory or just a defective gasket/pan. If there was noticeable damage somewhere I'd think and hope that they'd mention that and we would see it in the video.

My service advisor told me they have been instructed to check the torque on all the bolts holding the pan, clean it up, and see if the leak persists before resubmitting the claim. Will update..

I looked up TSARA when I first saw it on my service invoice. It's so interesting! I had no idea they did anything like that! Thanks for the link
