Does caster affect tire rub?
Does changing the caster with adjustable bushings do anything for tire rub?
My car is on 18x8.5+35 225/40 MP4S square with H&R Springs, Bilstein B8 Struts, and the M3 LCA/TS. The front fenders are rolled. The outer sidewalls rub the front of the fender archs in extreme situations. I’m trying to find an ideal caster setting that avoids rubbing while keeping as much steering-weight as possible. Any insight on the 4° of adjustability with the SPL Bushings vs the 1.5° with the Whiteline Bushings? Is all 4° necessary to get rid of rub? Are there other solutions to get the wheels back closer to the stock position in the wheel well? https://www.hpashop.com/Adjustable-F...PL-CRB-F3X.htm https://www.hpashop.com/Whiteline-20...Kit-KCA473.htm Thank you! Not typically, but excessive caster can cause the tire to rub on the front or rear wheel liner.
