It seems to be very confusing between brakes used in various models of BMW.

1. OG M2 blue calipers are the exact same caliper used in F82/83 M4/3? If it is the same, it will fit in both platform in theory? It seems like the rotor sizes are the same in both platform as well(380mm x 30mm(f), 370mm x 24mm(r)).
2. OG M2 blue calipers are the exact same caliper used in F22, F30, etc as M sports brakes? It seems like the size of rotors are smaller in F2x,F3x, but caliper seems the same, but hard to confirm correctly.
3. OG M2 blue calipers are exactly same caliper as M Performance calipers(comes with yellow/orange/red)? It seems like the package available has different front rotor size of 370mm x 30mm, but caliper seems the same, but hard to confirm correctly.

Can anyone who have done accurate research to have giving advice on these questions above?

Thanks in advance.

I have found a couple of sites that helped me understand the differences between M Sport and M Performance brakes, in the USA market, not sure about what the different terms and brake package combinations are available elsewhere.
One site I used to begin my research was REALOEM.COM;
I used this to understand my BMW M235i OEM brake system: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...235i&mg=34 .
I used this to understand the BMW M235i brake upgrade options: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...235i&mg=03 .
Both will give you BMW part numbers for the calipers (M Sport vs. M Performance), rotors (340mm vs 370mm front rotors).
One more site I found very informational is by "bimmerworld": https://www.bimmerworld.com/About-Us...-Sport-Brakes/ .

Good luck, have fun, I really like the way the M Performance calipers and rotors fill out the front wheel barrels.

Sorry I forgot to mention, you can get your blue front M Performance calipers too fit the 370mm x 30mm rotors, they can be found on some 3 series cars, just need to do some research. The rear calipers are the same on both M Sport and M Performance brake kits and the rotors are the same size 345mm x 24mm.
Slotted and slotted and dimpled rotors are available for both the front rotor sizes 340mm x 30mm or 370mm x 30mm and the rear at 345mm x 24mm.

Get F30 MSport front calipers, will match the rear F22 Msport calipers and gives you a direct bolt-on 370mm of rotor to please the eye. A bit more rotor mass will equate to a bit less heat, but not a whole lot at the end of the day..
