Anyone used VMR V-710 on M235/M240?

Anyone bought and fitted VMR V-710 wheels on oem suspension???

18" 8.5j ET43
18" 9.5j ET50

What was the quality like and did you manage to fit 235/40 on the front without rubbing the suspension strut or did you need a 3mm spacer ?
I take it 255/35 was not an issue in the rear?

those offsets are too high. I just got an email from them with the following sizing:

2x VMR Wheels V710 18x8.5 ET35 5x120 72.6
2x VMR Wheels V710 18x9.5 ET45 5x120 72.6

I may be wrong, but I thought V710 18x8.5 only comes in +35 and +45 offset.

FRONT:
+40 is perfect for about a 245 tire. So if you go smaller like 225 either one of those offsets will work. If you want a 235 or 245, its probably safer to get the +45 offset (closer to suspension) and put on a 3mm or 5mm spacers to get closer to 40 offset.

If they do come in +43 offset, then a 225 will be fine and probably a 235 also.

REAR: I know +45 will be good, with a +50 rear you should be ok for up to a 255 tire. Might want to research that one before you buy

I have them in ET43 all round but fitted 3mm spacers all round. Not needed for rear but wanted it the same all round. On the front I had 2.5mm clearance between the wheel and strut so did not want to risk a 235/40 tyre like that but with a 3mm spacer a 235/40 if perfect 👌. So basically I'm at ET40 all round with 18" 8.5j V-710's

Both OP and 2pt5RS are correct, 8.5et35/ 43 and 9.5et45/et50 will work with no issues. VMR Europe usually recommends et43/50 while we(USA) recommend ET35/45, which both clear the recommended 225/255 tires just fine. 265 has been done with ET50, but it's too close to be able to guarantee a rub free fitment. For those with no access to the ET43 fronts, we recommend an ET45 front with a 3mm spacer (effective ET42). This allows for a 235 front tire.

I run 235/40 front with ET43 with 3mm spacer, on eom suspension and no rubbing 👍
