Giving into the dark side, my BSM build so far
Hey guys, I've finally started getting some more parts for my M235i. I've had it for about a year now, and decided it was time to start turning it into what I envisioned when I bought it. I've gone back and forth on exactly what I want to do to it, but I've finally settled on a plan. It's a car I drive really only on the weekends, but I want to keep it street drivable and I don't plan to track it. Here's the list of goodies and what I still have in the works for it.
Current Status(UPDATED 09/04): -Gunmetal VMR V810 (F) 18x8.5 +35 (R) 18x9.5 +45 -M Performance Front Lip. Unpainted -M Performance Rear Diffuser. Everything but center "fin" area painted BSM. (Bought it painted from IND) -M Performance CF rear spoiler -M Performance full interior kit, including suede armrest(have suede/cf steering wheel but doing some more research before install) -Dinan Intake -Dinan exhaust with matte black tips -Fabspeed Sport Cat DP -IND matte black rear badge -Dinan Stage 3 Tune -Dinan Intercooler -Dinan Ball Joints -Dinan Springs -M Performance LSD Pending Install: -Dinan Stage 4 Tune -Dinan Big Turbo -Dinan Sway Bars Last edited by das_boost(F22); 09-04-2016 at 03:38 PM.. Hey guys. Quick update on the status of the car. I just ordered the Dinan S3 Package and M Performance LSD to finish off the project. I changed my mind off the Reflash because I still have a lot of time left on my warranty, and want to utilize it. I will post pictures up when all is said and done. It should be ready 02 Sep

I got the car back. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the turbo and stage 4 tune done due to the lead time on the turbo. I will have to get it done once I get back to CA this week. But the stage 3 tune pulls a lot harder than stock, and is very smooth. It pulls a lot harder in the upper powerband. The springs look great and I'm curious to feel how the car tightens up once I get the sway bars installed. It sounds nuts too!

Look great, can you measure the distance from the lowest point of the front splitter to the ground? I'm about to order the Dinan springs and curious how low the splitter will be after. Thanks,

I just measured it, and it's 4in. from the lowest part(the center of the splitter). I have a pretty steep driveway and I made it ok. I just creeped forward and took it at an angle. The drop is perfect IMO. Very clean
