Anyone having problems connecting esys. Windows 10 doesnt seem to be recognising the connection to car. Or it could be the the cable .

ethernet connection seems to be flashing as if something has connected and file manager refreshes when i disconnect/connect the cable but esys doesn't seem to connect to the car. I've ordered another obd2 connector to see if that will make a difference .

Did you follow the exact installation guide in the cheatsheet thread? This software is finicky. I had the same issue and it ended up being a piss-poor solder job on my eBay cable. Resoldering it fixed the issue.

Followed exactly , only thing left is to try again and then leave for an hour when it fails then try again, getting a bit pissed now. Had the cruise control switches installed for 3 months now but cant get it coded.
