Folding mirrors on convertible...
Okay, this problem only arises under the following condition:
Driving with the top open, stopping somewhere, and wanting to leave the top open. I changed some settings (which I will explain) and the result is as follows: Pressing the close button will fold the mirrors but actually LOWER the windows so that it can start the 'close top' routine. Now, I tried changing a whole bunch of settings, but what I really want is: Press button -> mirrors close. That's it. Nothing else. Whereas what happens now: Press button -> mirrors close, and at the same time windows drop ~1" to accommodate the closing top I find that there are delays between: Keypress and comfort closing (which means mirrors AND start to roll up the windows) Front windows and rear windows Can I separate those? None of this applies when I drive with the top closed, as then the windows are closed and the top is closed. KOMFORT_SCHLIESSEN: 0 (needed, to get mirror fold) KOMFORT_SCHL_VORNE: 0 (roll up windows at same time) KOMFORT_SCHL_SHD: 0 (but I don't have a moonroof (?)) |

After coding the folding mirrors on my 228i 'vert I have the problem where in order to get the mirrors to fold I have to press the lock button on the fob for a couple of seconds. When the top is folded down that couple of seconds of button pressing causes the latch covers to partially open, which looks awful. By the way, I drive with the windows down when I have the top down.

Did you change the convenient closing delay settings? I have mine set to .5
It works for me with the door handle and fob. But you have to quickly let go so the windows wont start to go down. |
